Grant Capriotti is a multidisciplinary designer and artist.

His industrial design practice centres on lighting, furniture, objects and architectural products. His artistic practice spans visual art, ceramics and sculpture, with a recent expansion into the public art realm.

Grant’s designs embody an approachable, contemporary aesthetic, characterised by distinctly Australian qualities. His design process involves deep environmental consideration and is material driven, with an emphasis on simplicity, durability and quality craftsmanship.

Largely inspired by nature and Australian culture, Grant has an inherent desire to create products and artistic works that connect with individuals, through interactive engagement or emotional resonance, often striking a harmonious balance between art and functionality.

As an ultra-curious, hardwired creative, he has built a deeply satisfying career pursuing simultaneous roles across varying disciplines.

Alongside his creative practice, Grant is the Public Relations Director at Kailis Hospitality Group and Creative Producer at Lux Events. He also works with luxury brands by referral, providing PR and event expertise as they enter the unique Western Australian market.

Grant has been a respected event producer and public relations professional in Western Australia’s luxury and lifestyle sectors for over 20 years. He has been trusted by international brands including Dior, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Van Cleef & Arpels, Miu Miu, Rolex, Kartell, QT Hotels, H&M and Tag Heuer. He also held a 10-year tenure on the board of celebrated architecture festival, Open House Perth., and was personally recruited to manage media for Hugh Jackman’s 2016 visit to Perth.

Exposure to exceptional design during these appointments sparked an obsession, which became the catalyst for his pivot into the world of a designer/maker.
